Neftali works as a Tax Accountant, assisting with preparation of tax returns. He joined the Hockaday CPA team as an intern in 2025 while pursuing his B.S. in Accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas. He graduated in December 2025 and plans to continue studying and working towards becoming a CPA.

Neftali previously interned with Santander Consumer as an internal auditor in 2024, and volunteered as a tax preparer with VITA where he learned the basics of tax preparation. His commitment to client satisfaction, community impact, and problem solving is what initially drove his interest in the personal tax industry.

Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, playing soccer, watching football, thrifting, and visiting family back in Richmond, TX.
