Born in Italy and raised in New York, Carmen recently relocated to Dallas after twenty years in Charlotte, North Carolina. She began her professional life pursuing a degree in engineering, electing instead to focus on being a full-time wife and mother to her two children. Over the years, she has worked as a 401(k) Plan Administrator, a Benefits Administrator, and has also done contract work as a software and regression tester. She has an A.A.S. in accounting and finance from Gaston College.

Prior to joining Team Hockaday, she was an office manager and bookkeeper for a cemetery in Charlotte. In her spare time, Carmen loves to travel, cook, and is an avid sports fan, admittedly spending far too many of her nights and weekends cheering on her favorite teams.
