Joe Hockaday
Founder and CPA
A Dallas native, Joe has lived and built his career in the area. After attending Jesuit College Prep, Joe earned a BBA from SMU in 1981. Shortly after graduating, he began his career as a staff accountant in the audit division with Ernst & Whinney where he received four promotions within five years.
Pam Allan
Executive Vice President and CPA
Pam joined Hockaday CPA in 2014, excited to be able to make a difference in the lives and businesses of our clients. She uses her well-rounded background and knowledge to help clients handle a wide variety of business issues. Pam has a true understanding of many different small business challenges.
Deepti Dominic, CPA
Tax Manager
Deepti joined Joe C. Hockaday CPA in 2016, and obtained her CPA license a year after that. Her love for accounting started when she was much younger living in India where she received a post graduate degree in accounting and finance.
Carmen Parkhurst
Bookkeeper
Born in Italy and raised in New York, Carmen recently relocated to Dallas after twenty years in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Edward Mussett
Tax Accountant
Edward, a Plano, TX native, earned his BA in Criminology and is pursuing a master’s in accounting at UTD. He began his journey with Joe C. Hockaday, CPA as an intern in January 2024. Edward excels at connecting with clients and ensuring their comfort.
James Hockaday
Senior Tax Accountant
James was born in Dallas and grew up in nearby Frisco, Texas. After attending Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas, James went on to study accounting at the University of Oklahoma, graduating with a BBA in Accounting in 2019.
Laura Marquez
Advanced Tax Accountant
Laura’s journey with our firm began in 2021 when she joined us as an intern. She then transitioned to a full-time tax preparer with Joe C. Hockaday CPA and has been a part of our team ever since.

Lisa handles all payroll needs for our firm’s clients. She also handles all aspects of franchise taxes: filing returns, processing tax payments, and working business entities.
Tara Murphy
Bookkeeping Department Manager
Tara joined Hockaday CPA full time in 2016. Her knowledge of bookkeeping serves clients through QuickBooks training classes and she manages books for a variety of businesses.
Simba Mukusa
Tax Accountant
Simba began her journey with Joe Hockaday CPA as an intern. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas, She officially joined our firm as a Tax Accountant in 2025.
Lindsay Strittmatter, CPA
Tax Manager
Lindsay earned a B.S. from the University of California Santa Barbara in 2009. Lindsay serves as Staff Accountant, helping to prepare tax returns and assisting in bookkeeping.
Deina McNabb
Director of Accounting & Operations
Deina serves as our Director of Accounting & Operations. She is committed to delivering amazing customer service and helping each of our customers through the preparation process.
Elijah Murphy
Senior Tax Accountant
Elijah works as a Staff Accountant, assisting in the preparation of tax returns. He graduated with a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Texas in Dallas in 2021.

Kalee works as our Client Liaison. She is here to aid in communication between the client and our firm, ensuring your neighborhood CPA is always a phone call away.
Lauren Yancey
Advanced Tax Accountant
Lauren embarked on her journey with Joe C. Hockaday CPA in 2022 as an intern and now works as a Staff Accountant. She graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2023 with a B.S. in Accounting and is working towards becoming a CPA.

Administrative Assistant
Megan Norwood is an Administrative/Executive Assistant with a strong background in office coordination and people-focused service.
Taylor Rutkoske
Senior Tax Accountant
Taylor joined Joe C. Hockaday CPA in 2020 and works as a senior staff accountant. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas.

Nathan, a Tax Accountant and aspiring CPA, has worked for Hockaday since early 2024. He graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2025 with an MS in Accounting and Analytics, and is currently preparing for the CPA exam.

Amneris serves as our Client Services Project Manager. She is here to assist the staff accountants with gathering all tax-related documents from clients.

Divya joined Joe C. Hockaday, CPA in 2022, where she specializes in the preparation and advisory services for both individual and business tax filings.

Tax Accountant
Lisa earned a BS from Texas A&M University. Throughout her career she has primarily work in accounting and finance for the sports and entertainment industries.
Stephanie Brickman
Bookkeeper
Stephanie works as our Bookkeeper. Since joining us in 2018 her focus has been in bookkeeping, individual and business tax returns, and estate and trust returns.
Teresa Castiglione
Accounts Receivable Lead
Teresa serves as the Accounts Receivable Lead and brings a varied business background to the Joe Hockaday team. She is responsible for collections, A/R, billing and assists in client payroll and tax liabilities.
Neftali Orellana
Tax Accountant
Neftali works as a Tax Accountant, assisting with preparation of tax returns. He joined the Hockaday CPA team as an intern in 2025 while pursuing his B.S. in Accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas.
